Zurich, 17 July 2009 ---- Following the announcement of the proposed
separation of its private banking and asset management businesses,
Julius Baer Holding Ltd. presents pro forma financial figures for
both entities, Julius Baer Group Ltd. and GAM Holding Ltd., for the
following reporting periods: first half 2008, second half 2008, and
full-year 2008. The pro forma financial figures were calculated as if
the transaction occurred on 1 January 2008. 

The business development of Julius Baer Group Ltd. and GAM Holding
Ltd. during the first six months of 2009 will be reported on the same
pro forma basis. In addition, financial information will be provided
for the corporate segments Bank Julius Baer and Asset Management, the
Group's main operational units constituting the segment reporting
structure prior to the separation. 

Julius Baer Holding Ltd. will publish its 2009 first-half results on
Monday, 27 July 2009, 07:00 a.m. CET. A presentation for journalists
and financial analysts/investors will take place at 09:30 a.m. CET at
the Hotel Widder in Zurich.
