Munich/London, 08. September 2008 – TV-Loonland today announces the first
round of deals for its animated comedy series RAYMOND (26 x 7 minute).
Broadcasters confirmed include ABC Australia, M-NET South Africa, VOOM HD /
Animania USA, DR TV Denmark, RTBF Belgium, Noga Communications Israel, PTS
Taiwan and Truevisions Kids Thailand.
RAYMOND is also set to take to the skies with Air France (France Vision
Service) and Malaysian Airlines (Inflight Productions) onboard for Inflight
Entertainment programming.
Given the current success of the series Everybody on Deck and TV Loonland
are currently in development on season 2 and 3 for a further 52 episodes to
bring the total to 78×7′ or 26 half hours.
A co-production between TV-Loonland, French producer Everybody on Deck and
French broadcasters Canal+ and Gulli, RAYMOND is a high definition,
flash-animated comedy series aimed at 7 to 10 year olds currently airing
successfully on Gulli TV in France.
Self-styled, self-conscious and a true original, 8-year old Raymond makes
quirky cool! The show takes the viewer on a light-hearted look at everyday
school and family life. Combining hilarious situations and a delightfully
colourful cast make RAYMOND an absolute joy to watch.
