London, November 19, 2008 – Managed Gaming Solutions Plc (’MGS’), a leading
provider of mobile and interactive gaming solutions, and Three Apple N.V.
from Curacao, a Caribbean business development company, today announced
that they have successfully started new mobile lottery services in the
Caribbean region through their Curacao based Joint Venture named MGS
Caribbean N.V. (’MGSC’).
The Joint Venture, located in Willemstad, Curacao (Netherlands Antilles),
is focusing on developing mobile and online gaming-related business
opportunities in selected countries in the Caribbean region being part of
the ‘CANTO’ area. This CANTO market area has about 16 million mobile
subscribers today, which is expected to grow to almost 19 million
subscribers by 2011.
MGS is contributing its proprietary technology and product know-how in
mobile and online gaming technology and services, while Three Apple N.V. is
bringing in its high-profile contacts network in the Caribbean area.
Normann Kleine, the CEO of MGSC, is a Dutch entrepreneur with profound
expertise in and access to the Caribbean region.
Operations of the Joint Venture have already been started embedded into an
attractive marketing concept including TV, radio and print advertising. In
Suriname first interactive mobile bingo and mobile lotto services have
already been launched, and are to be followed with a series of other game
launches in the region.
‘We believe that MGS Caribbean has an excellent set-up and a market
strategy to create good business in the CANTO area. The market is very
interesting for gaming solutions using new technologies; people in this
region are very much adaptive to new technology, and games of chance have a
strong tradition with these people. In Suriname for example, we have
already seen tremendous take off of our games, totaling up to more than 1 %
of the whole population playing our games on daily basis’, said Tero

MGS holds a 40 % stake in the Joint Venture, the remaining 60 % are held by
Three Apple N.V.
