Grasbrunn near Munich, December 10, 2009; Wirecard AG has announced a
change to the membership of its Supervisory Board. The new member is Stefan
Klestil (42), an acknowledged expert in the financial services sector.
Until the fall of 2009, for three years he had been President Central and
Southern Europe of First Data Corporation, one of the world’s leading
service providers for cashless and card-based payments.

Stefan Klestil is the successor to Paul Bauer-Schlichtegroll, who had been
a member of the Supervisory Board since August 2005 and had resigned his
mandate as at October 31, 2009 due to time constraints. The Chairman of the
Supervisory Board of Wirecard AG, Wulf Matthias, thanked Mr.
Bauer-Schlichtegroll cordially for his dedicated and committed
collaboration on the Supervisory Board of Wirecard AG.

Stefan Klestil was appointed by the District Court of Munich as a new
member of the Supervisory Board of Wirecard AG for the period up to the end
of the ordinary Annual General Meeting 2010. After studying at the Business
School of Vienna and at Columbia University, his career extended to include
positions with Salomon Brothers, TD Ameritrade and A.T. Kearney in the
U.S. Moreover, he was engaged as a partner with Roland Berger and, most
recently, with First Data Corp., before he established his own consultancy
firm this year.
