Sberbank of Russia is the 17th in rating of the most valuable banking brands
February 3, 2012, Moscow - Sberbank took the 17th place in rating of the most valuable banking brands in the world published by the consulting company Brand Finance (study 'Brand Finance Banking 500'). Value of Sberbank's brand was calculated at 10.8 billion dollars. Compared to 2011 Sberbank's brand climbed two positions up in the ranking. Sberbank confidently heads the list of all Russian banking brands.
The British HSBS took first place in the global rating of banking brands (25.6 billion dollars), the second and the third are taken by American Wells Fargo and Bank of America (23.2 and 22.9 billion dollars respectively).
In April 2011 Sberbank took first place in ratings of brand recognition and awareness of Russian banks, published by the National Agency for Financial Studies (NAFI). According to Agency's data, recognition of Sberbank in Russia is 96%, awareness - 86%.
In March 2011 Brand Finance has declared Sberbank the most valuable Russian brand.
According to results of the research by the Center of Strategic Developments (TsSR) published in December 2010, Sberbank and the Russian Orthodox Church have the highest credibility rating among the Russian institutional settings (54%).
