Lufthansa raises operating profit to almost EUR 1.4bn; EUR 1.25 dividend
proposed 

The Lufthansa Group's revenue totalled EUR 22.4bn (previous year: EUR
19.8bn) at the end of the financial year 2007 according to preliminary
figures. The operating result of EUR 1,378m (previous year: EUR 845m)
exceeded the profit target. The positive business development and income
from portfolio management also made their mark on the net profit for the
period of EUR 1,655m (previous year: EUR 803m). 

In continuation of the Group's dividend policy and in view of the sound
operating performance, the Executive Board proposes to the Supervisory
Board to submit a dividend proposal of EUR 1.25 per share for the previous
financial year to the Annual General Meeting, an increase of EUR 0.55. The
Supervisory Board's meeting will be held on 10 March and the Annual General
Meeting on 29 April 2008. 

Lufthansa will publish more detailed information on its Annual Financial
Statements 2007 in the Press Conference and Analysts' Conference on 12
March 2008. The data will be available on the Internet from 8 a.m. at
www.lufthansa-financials.com.
