Aide Solar Modules Receive MCS Accreditation, Opening the Door to Photovoltaic Systems Benefiting from United Kingdom’s Feed-in Tariff

Solar (,
a large-scale producer of photovoltaic modules and a subsidiary of the Panjit
Group, today announced that its photovoltaic (PV) Modules have
received accreditation under United Kingdom’s (UK) Microgeneration
Certification Scheme (MCS). Obtaining MCS is a requirement of the
British government in order to supply solar photovoltaic systems in the
UK. This important milestone opens the door for Aide Solar to use its
modules in systems that benefit from the UK’s Feed-in Tariff.

“Our extensive range of mono- and polycrystalline high-performance
modules are used worldwide,” said Eddy Fang, director of Worldwide Sales
and Marketing, Aide Solar. “This important accreditation, combined with
the recent opening of our European headquarters in Spain in partnership
with Hikari
Solar, positions us well to continue to grow our market share.”

The MCS accreditation is an internationally recognized quality-assurance
scheme that validates the quality and reliability of approved products
that satisfy rigorous standards. Product certification involves type
testing of products and an assessment of the manufacturing processes,
materials, procedures and staff training.
