Cooper Industries to Participate in Baird’s 2010 Industrial Conference

Cooper Industries plc (NYSE: CBE) today announced it would participate
in Baird’s 2010 Industrial Conference held in Chicago on November 10,
2010.

The presentation and comments by Cooper’s CEO, Kirk Hachigian, will
begin at approximately 1:20 p.m. CST.

A live audio webcast of the presentation will be available in the
“Investors” section of the Company’s website, www.cooperindustries.com.
The Company recommends that listeners download and install any necessary
audio software at least 15 minutes prior to the presentation. An audio
replay will be available on the website through December 2, 2010.

Cooper’s presentation may include references to non-GAAP financial
measures. Cooper will post a reconciliation of those measures to the
most directly comparable GAAP measures in the “Investors” section of the
Company’s website.
