Cooper Industries to Participate in Barclays Capital Industrial Select Conference

Cooper Industries plc (NYSE:CBE) today announced it would participate in
the Barclays Capital Industrial Select Conference held in Miami Beach,
Florida on Thursday, February 18.

The presentation and comments by Cooper’s Senior Vice President of
Corporate Development Tom O’Grady will begin at approximately 1:05 p.m.
EST.

A live audio webcast of the presentation will be available over the
Internet through the Company’s website, www.cooperindustries.com.
The Company recommends that listeners download and install any necessary
audio software at least 15 minutes prior to the presentation. An audio
replay will be available on the website through February 25, 2010.

Cooper’s presentation may include references to non-GAAP financial
measures. In the event non-GAAP measures are used in the presentation,
Cooper will post a reconciliation of those measures to the most directly
comparable GAAP measures in the “Investors” section of the Company’s
website, www.cooperindustries.com.
