Research and Markets: An Essential Report on the Global Natural Gas Industry

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/424ee9/global_natural_gas)
has announced the addition of the “Global
Natural Gas Industry” report to their offering.

Natural gas is a vital source of energy in most of the countries in the
industrialized world. While the use of natural gas is not new however,
it is only recently that methods for obtaining natural gas, bringing it
to the surface, and putting it to use were developed. Earlier, natural
gas was mostly used as a source of light, as without a pipeline
infrastructure, it was difficult to transport the gas very far, or into
homes to be used for heating or cooking.

Natural gas is a vital source of energy in most of the countries in the
industrialized world. The use of natural gas is nothing new to us. In
fact, most of the natural gas available to us today, is millions and
millions of years old. However, it was not until recently that methods
for obtaining natural gas, bringing it to the surface, and putting it to
use were developed.

As we entered the 21st century, with continued population increases,
economic growth and individual energy consumption, we are facing a
unique and far-reaching challenge of energy crisis. Furthermore,
emissions from various energy sources are contributing to climate
change. This has led to the need for alternative energy technologies
which are promising but will take some time for them to become
cost-effective and widely available.

Natural gas, as a cleaner burning source of fossil fuel than oil or
coal, is now commonly believed to offer part of the solution to climate
change and problems associated with poor air quality. Once considered
largely a waste product of oil production, natural gas is currently
experiencing a huge increase in demand around the world. As a plentiful,
economically viable and less polluting fuel, natural gas makes sense for
developing economies looking for new sources of power.

Natural gas has come a long way from when it was largely a byproduct
sent to the flare. As recently as 50 years ago, worldwide natural gas
consumption was relatively insignificant. Today, however, natural gas
meets more than 20% of the worlds primary energy requirements.

Aruvian Researchs focus on the Global
Natural Gas Industry explores this niche market globally and focuses
on the happenings of this industry. Analyzing the global trends, the
growth drivers, the strengths and weaknesses of this industry, industry
