RockTenn Announces Dividend
RockTenn today reported that its Board of Directors declared a dividend
of $0.15 per share on its Class A Common Stock to shareholders of record
at the close of business on November 10, 2009. The dividend, which will
be paid on November 23, 2009, represents an annual dividend rate of
$0.60 per share.
RockTenn Chairman and Chief Executive Officer James A. Rubright stated,
“The RockTenn Board of Directors authorized this dividend increase in
light of the increased size and profitability of our business since our
last dividend increase in January, 2007.”
RockTenn (NYSE:RKT) is one of North America’s leading manufacturers of
paperboard, containerboard and consumer and corrugated packaging with
annual net sales of approximately $2.8 billion. The Company operates
locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Chilé and Argentina.
